First values: the magic of animals

As a poet I hold the most archaic values on earth. They go back to the late Paleolithic;

the fertility of the soil,

the magic of animals,

the power-vision in solitude,

the terrifying initiation and rebirth;

the love and ecstasy of the dance,

the common work of the tribe.

“I can no longer, in good conscience, live with this Prime Minister. Either he goes, or I do.”

  1. Can only try to catch the funny side of a terrible situation inflicted on themselves and the UK by the Tories when they elected Boris Johnson – a known quantity -to this office. Sarah

  2. Wondering, Louis, if you are aware that one of the signifiers of the British upper class – Bojo is a member, of course – is their shambolic dress, disheveled hair and their corpulence. So entitled that they do not care what anyone thinks.

    If you watch especially the Asians in his former cabinet or the British-Iraki who is currently the Finance minister you don’t see a hair out of place. Ditto all members of the ruling elite who are actually middle class or working class. Immaculate in hair and dress.

    All part of the ghastly class system in Great Britain.
