What Trump is not

Something that the majority of us agree. 

Not now and not according to the values of the time in which this painting was painted.

Not only not a ladies’ man but not a man for anything or anyone but himself. 

The urgent questions, as we know, being:  

1) how did we get to such a man as a presidential candidate?  

2) how are we to proceed democratically with one of two ‘ruling’ parties in this degree of breakdown when no other parties are allowed to enter the ruling circle?

  1. Vous savez que les Anglo-Americains ne savent pas exactement quoi penser de la passion de ‘conquetes’ chez les Francais! Parce qu’on a passe au ‘plein’ egalite ici. Mais pas dans les sous-structures de notre culture: dans les couloirs ombrageux (?), les chambres sans lumieres ou les jeux anciens peuvent se continuer a l’ancien et a la francaise!
